Heya Den Bosch!"

Document: Kakhi Jordania’s statement regarding Sam Kersten transfer to PEC Zwolle
Date: 11.07.2019

The sale of Sam Kersten in PEC Zwolle was carried out by FC Den Bosch current management unilaterally without consultation with Kahi Jordania.

Kakhi Jordania by himself or his representatives as well did not want to go into media space with comments on the current situation in the club until the decision of the KNVB Appeal Committee regarding the acquisition of shares in the club.

However, recent decisions of a football club can harm Kakhi Jordania reputation as a person who has always helped the club and was not indifferent to its development.

In particular, FC Den Bosch unilaterally decided to sell Sam Kersten to PEC Zwolle without any consultation with Kakhi Jordania. In addition to the fact that this decision violates the partnership agreements that were between the club and Kakhi Jordania in terms of cooperation between sides during the interim period, the team of the potential new club owner is convinced that the transfer of Kersten has become a strategic mistake of the club. The club has significantly discounted the sale of a player with an incredible development potential, which is also an essential part of the club brand, supporting and promoting the values of the entire ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The player has lost the opportunity to become part of an ambitious and modern football project.

It is worth noting that the extension of Sam Kersten contract, which took place in December 2018, became possible only because to external financing of Kakhi Jordania and was the result of his insistent request.

We declare that Kakhi Jordania is not related to the decision of Sam Kersten transfer on the stated clauses and supports only initiatives aimed at the development of FC Den Bosch, and not at its stagnation.

Together with this statement, we want to thank Sam Kersten for a great past season and wish him good luck. He is great person and professional on and off the pitch. Sam will definitely remain in our hearts forever.
